Jazz singer Cathy Rocco performed at Birdland. Cathy has been singing professionally since the age of 10, and spent many years as a member of vocal group The Rocco Sisters. She’s focused on jazz for the past decade, and has earned great praise for the warmth and conviction of her vocal style.

Pittsburgh native Cathy Rocco began performing professionally at age 10 with “The Rocco Sisters.” They toured and recorded for Sutra records for many years. Recently Cathy has focused on jazz singing. Her new release “You’re Gonna Hear From Me” on Resonance Records features piano and arrangements from Kuno Schmid and Tamir Hendelman with Dave Carpenter (bass), Vic Stevens (drums) and Michael Higgins (guitar).
